I'm no expert, but those look PM to me.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">you may be right.
both of their outfits say Made in Germany
Molly2's say..Made in WEST Germany and have the mark behind thier ears.
(I don't know if that make a differance.)
Thier hair is a bit coarser than the new dolls.
I think thiy're happy..I need to do some fixing of hair, but clean and smell free.

Wow, wow. Congrats!

So--what type of thrift store is this? I am just curious, because I noticed that Seattle Goodwill has ebay AG listings now. I've never found anything like that at my Goodwill, so I wonder if they are all sort of doing something else with more collectible items.

I also have a few church/community stores around here that I check, but not as frequently as Goodwill (where I do find lots of nonAG books for dd for 50 cents each).

Wow!!! Congratulations!! I keep looking and looking for an actual 18" AG doll in a TS, but none have popped up. And I KNOW they're out there. The consignment store where I got Josefina's piano gets AG dolls in sometimes...

WOW! Congratulations!

I haven't had any luck at our local Goodwill either. I check in at least once a month, just to see if there's anyting new, but no AG items. Maybe next month. Stories like this definetly keep me going back!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It's called Unique thrift.
We have 3 of them here in the Twin cities (Mpls/StPaul)
They get stuff from the Lupus collectors and VietNam vets for two..probably more.
I've checked GWs in several cities when we travel..but really never find anything.
I think they skim off the good stuff.
I don't quite know why they don't pick up on these girls or the MYTwinns I've found.
They 'feature' those pretty but common KMart type dolls on the front shelf, but I've found all mine just tossed on the toy shelf.
Not complaining!!!
These two are really pretty!

Great, you had to say the name. Now I'm going to feel compelled to search for Unique Thrift Shops wherever I go. And when I come to the Cities, I guess I need to hit them, before the MOA.

Where in the Cities are they? I used to live in Roseville, and Little Canada.
